BITE – Boosting Inclusion through Employability

The project responds to a growing need across Europe: ensuring that young people with migrant backgrounds can access fair employment opportunities, while also supporting professionals and companies to better understand and include them.

BITE brings together organisations from Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Norway, combining different experiences and realities to create a shared European approach to inclusion and employability.

Why This Project Matters

Young migrants and refugees face multiple challenges when entering the labour market:

  • Language barriers
  • Lack of recognition of qualifications
  • Limited professional networks
  • Administrative and legal difficulties
  • Discrimination and stereotypes

At the same time:

  • Youth workers often lack tools to support employability
  • Companies may not know how to hire or integrate migrant workers

BITE addresses this gap by connecting young people, professionals, and employers, creating a more inclusive and accessible labour market.
